During Burnleys win against Stoke at the weekend, George Boyd ran his socks off, nibbling at the Stoke players every chance he got and chasing down every ball he could. For his achievements he managed to cover a staggering 8.29 miles in the process.

That’s a fair distance to cover in a football game! Having ran to work on occasion which was over 10 miles, it took around 90 minutes at a constant pace. These chaps are managing it whilst loitering on the pitch too.

Kudos.
