James Milner, purveyor of the fine art of football for Manchester City for many a year, produces this wonderful pass to a team mate last night during the Englands first game after the miserable World Cup performance at , what I like to call, the World cup.
England beat Norway 1 – 0 on the night via a Wayne Rooney penalty which was won by Liverpools Raheem Sterling but only managed a staggering 2 shots on target – something which Roy Hodgson wasn’t willing to discuss after the game saying “…don’t hit me with statistics. When we had that much possession, and you talk about two shots on target?”
England start their Euro 2016 qualifications against Switzerland on Monday where hopefully James Milner can produce a better cross or two than this.
