What is it?
Betegy is an interesting little site that provides you with precise football predictions using analysis that takes into account many things such as team dynamics, football news and numbers. More detailed information about this can be found here.
In A Nutshell?
It takes all the games coming up from the Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Premier League, Primera Division and Serie A and, as if by magic, Betegy offers you a wealth of predictions based on the numbers the magic fairies come up with.
No more blinkered “my teams going to win no matter what” bets. No more “7 goals or more scored” bets. In fact, no more silly bets at all.
What stats does it offer?
The main page gives you an overall look at the most likely outcome of the games from a statistical point of view across all 5 leagues. It also offered three types of markers that suggest certain bets to you:
Recommended: One team has a strong chance of winning over the other. The odds are low, but the probability is high. For this type of bet, we recommend betting on a win for the stronger team.
Extreme: The weaker team is expected to win against the leading team. The odds are high. For this type of bet, we recommend betting on a win for the normally weaker team.
Draw: This bet is risky, the odds are high, and they are highly profitable. Draw bets are put on games with odds of 3.00, and with more than 50% tendencies of becoming a draw.
Its all presented in an attractive and easily readable format, giving you the score, then the percentage change of a win, draw or loss. You also get some odds for the game, and clicking on these brings up a neat little menu with bookies odds (currently includes William Hill, Bet365, Unibet, BWin, Bet At Home, Pinnacle and Come On)
When you click on the games, you are then taken to a more detailed page, giving you the chance to view the percentage splits of how Betegy came to the prediction, which in turn could give you other options when betting (particularly if the percentages are close).
The darker colours on each of the three circles represent the best bet statistically overall. Hovering over the different figures in each of the circles, you are then presented with the percentage chance of that happening.
Does it cost?
You can register for free on Betegy, which gives you access to 5 free predictions per week. They also offer various packages that will give you access to the full programme of matches across the five leagues mentioned.
Is It Worth It?
As a betting man who went through a period of placing “hatrick to be scored” or “seven or more goal scored” over and over again after winning big once, I could have done with something like this to bring me down to earth. Now, when I get these stupid ideas in my head, the first place i’ll visit it Betegy to put me back in my place. And with them getting 96% of recommended bets right in the Premier League – I’d certainly be telling you to at least check them out.
Thanks for visiting FeintZebra.
